Emma Buenen, an Australian author, has a passion for adventure, fantasy and historical novels. Her three-book adventure fantasy series and historical warrior fantasy novels feature women who are thrust out of normal life by disaster, invasion or attack. These heroines learn to defend themselves by forging strong relationships and becoming warriors, fighters and survivors.

Emma's own life is an adventure as she navigates homeschooling her children and her writing passion. Her love for exciting stories of the past is reflected in her writing which is set in ancient and medieval times. Emma has lived in Ukraine, studied in Paris and now resides on the beautiful coast of Queensland. In addition to writing, Emma keeps in touch with her readers through her monthly substack newsletter and social media platforms.
